Hi Loves,

I hope all of you had a great weekend. I am back from Disney World and wanted to share with you all about my hair finally. As most of you know by now, I cut all my hair off, I know, I know shocking!

I never was the type of girl to allow my looks to define who I am, but one thing I felt made me was my hair. I was never the prettiest growing up, I was always going through an awkward phase, but one thing that was always on point was my hair. Growing up as a Latina we are taught that long hair is beautiful and you just never cut your hair. I have always had thick curly hair, and my mother always had it long, well except that one time my brother brought home lice from school, and her aunt cut my hair. I was about 5 and can remember my mother's face when she saw me for the first time with short hair, I thought she was going to kill her aunt. My mother was so devastated that her aunt cut my hair so until I made the decisions about my haircuts, it was always long.

When I was 26, I wanted to take the plunge and chop my hair off, but I chickened out and cut it to my neck area. I have always thought short hair was chic, but the fear of it not looking good and having to grow it out stopped me from cutting it. So, you guys are probably wondering what has changed, what made me actually cut it?! I honestly think me being older and comfortable in my own skin, made me have the guts to do it. Dealing with a move and two toddlers, helped with decision as well. I told myself that 2018 is the year I just am going to do what I want when I want. It honestly felt liberating just to cut it and not have to worry about my hair. Thank you guys for all the love on the cut, and I can't wait to share products and styles with you guys. Stay tuned for more of it because I plan on keeping it for a while.
