Dining Room Revamp

Hi Babes,

Happy Monday! I am so pleased to share my dining room update. I have been dying to share this space but had to wait for my dining chairs to be shipped. If you have made a furniture purchase during the past six months, you know that shipping times have been super delayed, and it was killing me not to share the full space.

When we first moved into our home 2 1/2 years ago, I knew that I would update my dining area to flow with my sunroom, so I didn't bother purchasing too many items for this area. The sunroom was finally finished this summer, so I started to figure out what I wanted for the dining area. With any space, I prefer to start with big pieces because to me those are the hardest to decide on. I also love to pay attention to detail, like light covers and fixtures. If you all remember my chandelier which you can check out here, gave my dining area a whole different vibe. As much as I do love farmhouse style, it truly isnโ€™t me. I love playing with decor as you guys all know, but having children I wanted a style that can grow with all of us and I believe I finally found it.

So as far as the pieces go, I knew I wanted to keep my dining table because I loved it so much, so I decided that I would invest in chairs and a new light. Once the sunroom was complete, it was easy to pick out decor pieces. I love that the color of our walls flows with our black and white decor. I also added gold and wood texture with the pieces in the dining room to add color. I added these two beautiful mirrors and white curtains to complete the space. I am madly in love with the way this space looks.

Completing the dining area makes me so happy because it gets me excited to start the kitchen. As much as I want everything to be complete, I know going slow will only produce great results. My advice for any of you wanting to fix up your home or space, start slowly and work your way through each room. You will thank yourself later for taking your time. As always, thanks for going through the decorating journey with me. Stay tuned because I have plenty more space to share.

Lissette
