My Hair Story With Dove

This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with Dove and Latina Bloggers Connect. However, all opinions expressed are my own.

Hi Loves,

ย

Today I have teamed up with Dove to bring you my hair story. The Dove's Regenerative Nourishment hair care line is an amazing line for women like myself that have damaged their hair and want to get that life back into it. I'm sure like myself most of you use heating tools and color your hair and not to mention sun damage, These products are infused with red algae + keratin nutricomplex and are perfect if you have done any of the above scenarios to your hair.

From a young age I struggled with my hair, being that it is thick and curly, so of course like most girls I wanted to get it blown out all the time and really didn't want to embrace my curls. Now that I am women I love to embrace my beautiful curls from my Latina culture, I even embrace the frizz. I decided to share with you guys how I avoid using heat as much as possible to create this beach wave top knot look. Hope you all like it and remember Dove wants women to feel empowered to style their hair however they want without the worry of hair damage so embrace your hair loves. 1. Wash hair using Dove Regenerative Nourishment shampoo and conditioner. I like washing my hair at night so there is less time using heating tools.

          2. Pump Dove Huile- Serum three times in hand and genereously comb through hair, staying away from the root. Split hair in four sections and braid and pin with bobby pins to top of hair. Use a head scarf or bandana to hold hair in place while you sleep.

3. In the morning take braids out and you will have a nice beachy wave, you can be done at this sections but I like to fix some of my frizz, remember I have thick hair. Split into two sections in front and one in back.

   4.  I like to enhance the look by using a curly iron on some of my hair. Once again when I'm giving my hair a rest from heating tools I try not to use it too much, just to handle the frizz.

5. Im loving the top knot look especially with my hair half up. You take as much or as little hair from the front of your scalp. Tie that section up and create a bun and pin with bobby pins. In this section you can tease for a fuller bun.

6. And there you have it a messy beach wave half bun. I have learn to just embrace my hair and love that Dove is telling women to love your hair no matter what texture it is. Hope you guys like this tutorial and let me know if you like in it on my youtube channel.

Peace & Love.
